Brisbane Student Accommodation
Student accommodation in Brisbane consists of city apartments, suburban houses, purpose-built student housing and uni residential colleges. Most students study in the CBD or close to it. QUT is based in the city centre, while UQ is in the nearby suburb of St Lucia.
Living close to campus can save considerable time because Brisbane does not have a comprehensive metro rail system. Buses carry much of the university traffic, with trains and ferries helping on some routes.
Student accommodation generally costs from about $220 to more than $800 per week. You can on sites such as uhomes.com. Share houses and shared rooms in purpose-built accommodation are generally the cheapest options.
