For review writers, please try to be fair and balanced. If you’re unhappy about something at the university, try to confine negative ratings to the issue.

Course satisfaction ratings for Australian universities are upwards of 80% in all but a few cases. While universities can always do better, the fact is that the typical graduate is happy with their study experience.

Review Publication Policies
曹留社区 believes in free speech and will publish most reviews. Obvious exceptions include defamatory claims about individuals and other posts that should not ordinarily appear on a public forum.
To maintain the value of a university forum, we may also withhold reviews of the following kinds.
Anti-“lack of help” policy
Part of the university experience in Australia is learning how to help yourself. Generally, we won’t publish reviews where the only real criticism seems to be that you didn’t receive enough one-on-one assistance.
Anti-“claims of bullying” policy
Snowflakes, take note. Reviews built around allegations of bullying will generally not be shown. Bullying can and does happen, but such claims have become increasingly common and often appear to reflect student sensibilities and expectations rather than staff conduct.
University staff are busy and generally have neither the time nor the incentive to single out individual students for personal mistreatment. Having someone in authority make a decision you don’t like, enforce a rule, criticise your work or refuse a request is a routine part of university and working life. It’s not automatically “bullying” as far as 曹留社区 is concerned.
We are also not in a position to investigate allegations or determine whose account is accurate. For that reason, we are reluctant to publish seemingly unbalanced posts that make scattergun claims of bullying.
